* Help the children feel
secure by repeating
familiar activities, e.g.
songs and rhymes.
* Repeat in English what
children say in their
mother tongue.

- Say Hi / Hello to the students. Explain the words Hi / Hello used to greet someone

* For large classes, after modeling the game; have students form groups of 8 to 10 to
play. Circulate, monitoring and helping.
 “Hi, Hello” song
- Play the CD (Tiny Talk book) or sing the song (Ss are quiet and listen to the song).
