The climate is often hot and humid. In North Vietnamthere are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In summer it is hot andsometimes very hot but in winter it is very cold. In mountainous regions in the farNorth (such as Sapa) the temperature sometimes drops below zero. In the Central Vietnam temperatures are high all year round.
