Amelie: Hi Phuc! Where's Mai? Isn't she coming?

Phuc: She said she was too tired and didn't want to go out. She's been staying up late studying for the exam.

Nick: Does she need to be that stressed out?

Phuc: Maybe not. But my parents always expect her to get good grades and she doesn't want to disappoint them. They want her to go to a top college and study medicine.

Amelie: Really? She told me she wanted to be a designer ...

Phuc: Yes, that's why she's been a bit tense lately. She doesn't know what to do. My parents said design graduates wouldn't find jobs easily and they wanted her to get a medical degree.Really? She told me she wanted to be a designer... 

Amelie: Oh, I understand. Sometimes I wish my parents could put themselves in my shoes...

Nick: Anyway, Mai needs to take a break. I and ask her if she wants to go and film with us tomorrow.

Phuc: Oh, I doubt it... She's already fully for the weekend with her maths English class, judo class, and music lesson !

Amelie: Chào Phúc! Mai đâu rồi? Cô ấy chưa đến à? 

Phúc: Cô ấy cô ấy hơi mệt và không muốn ra ngoài. Cô ấy phải thức khuya để ôn thi.

Nick: Có nhất thiết phải áp lực vậy không? 

Phúc: Không. Nhưng bố mẹ của cô ấy luôn muons cô ấy đạt điểm cao và cô ấy thì không muốn cha mẹ thất vọng. Họ muôn Mai đỗ trường đại học nổi tiếng và học ngành y.

Amelie: Ồ mình hiểu. Thỉnh thoảng mình ước là bố mẹ có thể đặt họ vào vị trí của mình. 

Nick: Dầu sau thì Mai cũng cần được nghỉ ngơi. Mình sẽ gọi cho Mai hỏi xem cô ấy có muốn đi xem với chúng mình ngày mai không?

Phúc: Mình e là không. Hình như Mai kín lịch học cuối tuần lớp học Toán, Tiếng Anh, judo và lớp học nhạc nữa.
